Punjab Demarcates Areas Included in LCBDA’s Jurisdiction
According to press reports, the Punjab Housing Department published a notification outlining the administrative borders of the Lahore Central Business District Authority (LCBDA).
Following approval from the office of the governor of Punjab, the aforementioned notification was made public. According to the notification, Wahdat Colony, Railway Officer’s Colony, Bab-e-Pakistan, Askari Housing Complex, National Park, Aviation Colony, Airport Flats, ASF Walton Camp, Saint Merry Park, and Lahore Flying Club are among the locations under the supervision of the LCBDA.
Imran Amin, chief executive officer of the Lahore Central Business District Development Authority (LCBDDA), stated that the National Logistics Cell would be in charge of the project’s construction and development (NLC).

According to the proposal, the first five buildings of the proposed development plan are scheduled to be completed during the next 24 to 36 months.
Notable is that the LCBDA recently sold five prime commercial plots in the Gulberg neighbourhood of Lahore’s central business district for a total of PKR 26.5 billion. The aforementioned property will be used to construct multistory residential and retail structures.
