Punjab Excise & Taxation to Conduct Land Survey Across Province
According to news reports, the Punjab Excise, Taxation, and Narcotics Control Department (ETN) has decided to conduct a province-wide property survey.

In this regard, the department has organized teams that will soon begin work. A 35 to 40 percent increase in income is projected as a result of the study, according to reports. This assessment will also include areas near the province’s major highways and motorways.
The Department of Excise and Taxation reportedly performs a survey every five years to examine land utilization and establish tax collection techniques.

However, the investigation will begin a year later than anticipated. Due to the pandemic condition in the country, the survey is being conducted this year rather than in 2020. 2015 was the year in which the most recent survey was done.
