Punjab Plans Road Show to Attract Investors for Mega Projects
Lahore: According to news reports, the Punjab government has chosen to conduct a public private partnership road show in Lahore in order to draw investors for the next megaprojects of the provincial government.

The Public Private Partnership Authority will begin holding seminars and briefings in August, and work on these events is reportedly already under way.
In addition to the road show, briefings on the mega-projects will be planned for both domestic and foreign investors. There will also be conferences on several topics, including energy, transportation, and information technology.

The Punjab government has pledged to use a public-private finance approach to finish megaprojects worth PKR 25 billion in the current fiscal year.
In order to ensure that the projects are completed within the allotted time, Prime Minister Imran Khan had previously issued directives directing the resolution of legal disputes pertaining to the projects for Ravi City and the Lahore Central Business District on a priority basis.
