Punjab to Allocate 30% Uplift Funds to Village Councils
According to media sources, Punjab Local Government and Community Development Minister Mian Mahmood ur Rasheed said that village councils will receive 30% of the development budget. The administration implemented a new and efficient structure of local government for the delivery of high-quality municipal services.

In accordance with the objective of Prime Minister (PM) Imran Khan and Chief Minister (CM) Usman Buzdar, every development project would preserve transparency. Recently, the chief minister announced a revitalization plan for the Narowal district, and immediate development funds were made available.
In addition, Mian Mehmood ur Rasheed instructed the deputy commissioner to create a master plan for the Narowal District. He indicated that details regarding projects to improve the district’s level of living will be communicated with CM Buzdar.

The Deputy Commissioner of Narowal, Nabila Irfan, disclosed that a detailed plan was in place to complete the projects within the timeframe specified by the Chief Minister. Minister Mian Mahmood ur Rasheed announced that Narowal district received development funds for the first time.
