Quetta to Host for Psl 8 Exhibition Match on February 5
ISLAMABAD, January 19, 2023- PCB has scheduled an exhibition match between Quetta Gladiators and Peshawar Zalmi in Balochistan.
The highly awaited encounter between the former champions will take place on February 5, which is “Kashmir Day” across the nation. The new PCB management visited the only cricket stadium in Quetta last week in cooperation with the production and marketing teams to assess the situation. A representative of the Quetta Gladiators stated, “We are ecstatic to be hosting our very first match at our home.” The official went on to remark that PCB’s initiative in scheduling the match at the site is commendable since Quetta Gladiators fans are eagerly anticipating it. The official also hoped that renowned Pakistani cricketers would participate in the exhibition match and that everything would run well.

In addition, he announced that the Gladiators would have a full-strength team for the forthcoming exhibition match against Zalmi. Quetta Gladiators have retained Sarfaraz Ahmed as their captain for the eighth season of the Pakistan Super League, while Peshawar Zalmi have selected Babar Azam as their new captain. It is crucial to note that the upcoming edition will take place in Karachi, Lahore, Rawalpindi, and Multan from February 13 to March 19.
