Ramadan and Eid-Ul-Fitr 2023 Dates Announced For UAE
Ramadan will begin in the United Arab Emirates on March 23, 2023, with Eid-ul-Fitr happening on April 21, making it a 29-day Ramadan, according to Ibrahim Al Jarwan, chairman of the board of directors of the Emirates Astronomy Society (EAS).

According to Ibrahim, the new crescent for Shawwal will be visible on April 20 and will be 4 degrees above the western horizon at dusk.
Speaking of the fasting hours, he said that they will start off at around 13 and a half hours and gradually become longer until they reach 14 hours and 13 minutes by the conclusion of Ramadan.
The UAE will see between 17°C and 36°C temperatures throughout the holy month, with an average of 22.4 mm of rain and 3.8 wet days.

Due to the significant expat population in the UAE, restaurants stay open during the fasting hours, but no one is allowed to eat or drink in public.
The beginning and ending dates of Ramadan are determined by the UAE’s moon-sighting committee, and it often lasts 29 or 30 days. Working hours and school days are shortened during the holy month.
