Rawal Dam Interchange Project Faces Delay
Islamabad: Due to the need to relocate utility service lines from the site, progress on the Rawal Dam Interchange project has been delayed.
The project, which had been inaugurated in July of last year, experienced a brief delay before formal work on it resumed in October. In two years, the 1.1 billion rupee project is expected to be finished.

An official with the Capital Development Authority (CDA) stated that after the lines had been moved, the project’s progress would pick up.
At the intersection of Park Road, Club Road, and Murree Road, the interchange is being built. When the project is finished, motorists will benefit because the traffic congestion on this stretch of Murree Road has become commonplace, according to CDA officials.
A hanging arch-style bridge with lighting would be added to the Rawal Dam junction as part of a separate project to beautify the area, according to CDA officials.

The construction of the Korang Bridge is also proceeding, and CDA officials anticipate that it will be finished this year.
