Rawalpindi Ring Road Plan Withdrawn From P3A
Lahore: The Punjab government has decided to pull the Rawalpindi Ring Road Project out of the public-private partnership (P3A).

Thursday’s 8th meeting of the public-private partnership policy and monitoring board was presided over by Chief Minister Usman Buzdar in his office.
The committee decided to initiate the Rawalpindi Ring Road Project in PC-I mode using Punjab government resources. In addition, the Kharian-Dinga Road project was removed from the public-private partnership portfolio.
The CM ordered that the projects be completed in accordance with their respective deadlines and requirements. Participants also endorsed the decisions made at the seventh meeting, while public-private partnership cell member Quratul Ain Memon provided an update on the development initiatives.

The meeting was attended by Provincial C&W Minister Sardar Asif Nakai, Adviser Dr. Salman Shah, the chief secretary, ACS (Home), secretary housing, chairman P&D, administrative secretaries, the CEO of the authority, and others.
