RCB Inaugurates ‘Quran Garden’
At Raja Akram Road, the Rawalpindi Cantonment Board (RCB) officially opened the “Quran Garden,” which was created as part of the “Plant for Pakistan” initiative.

Chief guests at the event were Cantonment Executive Officer (CEO) Muhammad Umar Farooq Ali Malik and President Cantonment Board Brigadier Ijaz Qamar Kiani. The garden was specifically planted with saplings of the plants that are listed in the Holy Quran.
Speaking to the attendees, Brigadier Ijaz Qamar Kiani remarked that “Plant for Pakistan” is more than just a campaign; it has evolved into a passion that is growing daily throughout the year. He was grateful for the plans made by the boards of Rawalpindi and Chaklala to offer locals free saplings.
A significant number of individuals who supported the Cantonment Board’s efforts to create a clean and green environment were present, together with Seham School pupils, at the ceremony.

While praising the residents’ response, President Cantt Board said, “I visited the distribution locations set up to deliver free saplings and witnessed, amazing response of the public who are now motivated and enthused to make the plantation campaign a success.
