RCCI Urges RDA to Construct Industrial Zones Alongside Ring Road
Along the Ring Road, the Rawalpindi Chamber of Commerce and Industry (RCCI) has requested the Rawalpindi Development Authority (RDA) to create industrial and economic zones.
The relocation of goods transportation, firm warehouses, and the general bus stop to Ring Road will assist in reducing the amount of heavy traffic entering the city. The construction of industrial zones will stimulate local industry and small and medium-sized enterprises, promote economic activity, and generate employment possibilities.
Adopting the long-term approach can permanently address encroachments from the city. On December 25, the Ring Road project will be inaugurated. The business community views Ring Road as a game-changer, as stated by President Nadeem Rauf, who described it as a crucial city development initiative.

Along the Ring Road, RCCI’s agenda has consistently stressed the construction of industrial and economic zones. He stated that the city’s population density had increased. The relocation of cottage industries, furniture, show markets, bus/truck terminals, and markets can only alleviate city congestion.
