RDA Sealed Site Offices of Unapproved Housing Projects
According to news reports, the Rawalpindi Development Authority (RDA) demolished three site offices of unlawful housing projects and sealed five site offices in Rawalpindi.
According to a spokeswoman, the RDA has initiated a campaign against illegal constructions and unapproved housing developments. In accordance with the Punjab Private Housing Schemes and Land Subdivision Rules 2010, he noted, notices were issued to the proprietors of illegal housing schemes.
Additionally, complaints were filed with the police against the proprietors of housing buildings who operated site offices.

RDA warns citizens against investing in illicit housing ventures. Citizens are encouraged to verify the progress of authorized housing plans on the authority’s website.
The RDA has directed Sui Northern Gas Pipeline (SNGPL), PTCL, and Islamabad Electric Supply Company (IESCO) not to give services to unapproved schemes, according to the spokeswoman.
