RDA Finalized Dualization of Dr. Qadeer Khan Road
Rawalpindi: The Engineering Directorate of Rawalpindi Development Authority (RDA) – under the directions of RDA Director General Abdul Sattar Issani – has finished the dualization work of Dr Qadeer Khan Road from Islamabad Highway to Falcon Complex Rawalpindi, according to news sources.
According to the RDA Spokesman, the Punjabi government has already released PKR 40 million for the Qadeer Khan Road dualization project and will release the remaining PKR 86 million after June 2021.
Nonetheless, he noted that the DG RDA made efforts and got PKR 86 million released early in March 2021.
The project was finished and the road opened for traffic as a result of the Engineering Directorate’s accelerated work tempo.
Little projects like the installation of power poles and tuff pavers, however, are still under progress and should be finished soon.
