RDA Issued Notices To 4 Illegal Housing Projects In Rawalpindi
The Rawalpindi Development Authority (RDA) has taken action against four housing projects in Rawalpindi City by issuing notices to them. The RDA has been actively cracking down on encroachments and illegal housing projects in various parts of the city. Acting on the orders of Director General Muhammad Saif Anwar Jappa, the authority has identified several housing projects as illegal and has issued notices to four of them.
In addition, the RDA has warned the sponsors, sales partners, and marketing agencies associated with these projects to immediately stop their marketing. Failure to do so will result in legal action against the firms and individuals involved. According to an RDA spokesperson, no housing project can market its product until it has obtained a No Objection Certificate (NOC) from the RDA, and no housing society is considered legal until it has been granted an NOC.

The RDA has named the four housing projects that have been issued notices: Al-Buraq Enclave Rawat, Century Town Housing Scheme, Pak Sar Zameen Town, and Rawat City Housing Scheme. The RDA has already made allegations against two of these projects, Century Town and Pak Sar Zameen Town, but they continue to run social media campaigns that mislead the public.
The Director General has directed the RDA to take strict action against marketing and advertisement campaigns and those involved in them. Owners of illegal projects and those associated with them will have FIRs lodged against them.
