In compliance with Director General Muhammad Saif Anwar Jappa’s directives, M/s Reliable Marketing has received a warning from the Rawalpindi Development Authority (RDA) regarding their advertising campaign promoting nine unlawful housing developments.
According to an RDA spokesperson, the marketing company has received a warning from the RDA’s Metropolitan Planning and Traffic Engineering (MP&TE) Directorate instructing them to stop promoting nine unapproved and illegal housing proposals.

The spokeswoman went on to say that the DG has given the appropriate authorities the go-ahead to prosecute illegal housing organizations for their advertising operations.
He said that a housing project cannot be regarded as authorized or legitimate without first receiving a No Objection Certificate from RDA. The representative said that by promoting these projects without the required approvals, the marketing company was deceiving the public.
Such projects are marketed or promoted as though they have already received approval and are lawful. The marketing firm has been warned to stop promoting the illicit enterprise right away.
In accordance with the DG’s instructions, residents are also encouraged to check the status of housing projects on RDA’s official website, www.rda.gop.pk.
