RDA Notifies Developers of Illegal Societies to Halt Marketing
According to news reports, the Metropolitan Planning and Traffic Engineering (MP&TE) directorate of the Rawalpindi Development Authority (RDA) has given a warning to the owners of unlawful housing plans, ordering them to cease all development and marketing operations, including ceremonies.

Additionally, the proprietors have been ordered by the directorate to cease illicit printing and electronic marketing. The RDA has launched a lawsuit against unauthorised housing schemes and obtained Initial Information Reports (FIRs). In addition, the Planning Permission was cancelled.
According to the directorate, the unlawful housing project inaugurated the abroad block with Shahid Khan Afridi in attendance. The owner was notified of the violation of rules and regulations and instructed to stop the event on the site.
In addition, the RDA has cautioned the general public against investing in illicit housing developments. In addition, the authorities have asked Sui Northern Gas Pipelines Ltd (SNGPL), Islamabad Electric Supply Company (IESCO), and PTCL not to provide services to these new developments.

A spokeswoman for the RDA indicated that the RDA director general has instructed the RDA MP&TE directorate to take stringent action against unlicensed commercial and residential development, booking offices, and encroachment.
