RDA to Construct Plazas on Vacant Land
Rawalpindi: The Rawalpindi Development Authority (RDA) plans to build two commercial plazas on its unoccupied property and subsequently lease them to generate income.

Director General of the RDA Nadeem Ahmed Abro requested that the Director of Estate Management immediately prepare a strategy to utilize the unoccupied land.
RDA Chief Engineer Aamir Rasheed briefed the gathering on the agency’s completed and continuing projects, including the dualisation of Dr. Qadeer Khan Road from Islamabad Highway to Falcon Complex Rawalpindi and the construction of three pedestrian bridges on Airport Road.
The chairman of the RDA’s governing board praised the rapid completion of construction on Dr. Qadeer Khan Road.

In addition, he ordered the Metropolitan Planning and Traffic Engineering Directorate to maintain its unrelenting pursuit of illegal and unauthorized buildings and commercial activities.
