RDA Will Soon Build a Public Parking Area on 5 Kanal Property
ISLAMABAD, December 24, 2022- RDA has announced to build a parking space for the general public on a 5 Kanal area.
The parking lot will be across the street from the Novelty Cinema Rawalpindi. RDA has ordered to build this parking area to reduce the volume of traffic and the number of vehicles parked on the route. According to regulations from the RDA, any illegal structures on the property must be demolished before the construction of the parking area starts DG Muhammad Saif Anwar Jappa instructed RDA to begin constructing a wall around the 5-Kanal open area after taking a look at it.

Additionally, he provided directions for parking vehicles and motorcycles. It’s important to note that the RDA has instructed its enforcement agents to remove individuals off public land within a week in order to prevent traffic jams. The initiative to build a public parking lot is another step in that direction. It would guarantee that residents of Rawalpindi have access to the parking spaces they require for their vehicles.
