Reforms Initiated to Restructure Educational Testing Agency
Peshawar: The Khyber Pakhtunkhwa government has implemented a number of reforms to bolster the Educational Testing and Evaluation Agency (Etea) and enable it to meet the testing standards for all public sector recruitments.

Chief Minister Mahmood Khan, who presided over a meeting, agreed in principle to the proposed reform plan for reforming the testing agency and streamlining all of its operational operations, according to an official statement. The reform plan was discussed at the meeting.
The prime minister instructed the relevant authorities to finish all conditions and measures in a timely manner so that the plan may be carried out in letter and spirit. He stated that Etea was the sole public sector testing organisation and that it needed to be bolstered to meet the requirements of the current day.
Multiple reform efforts to strengthen Etea were in progress and will be presented for final approval at the upcoming meeting of Etea’s Board of Governors.

In order to strengthen the agency’s legal framework, draughts of financial and service regulations have been drafted, and other legal reforms, such as designing job descriptions for each position, formulating a performance evaluation mechanism, and developing standard operating procedures, are in their final stages.
