Renovation of Pak Secretariat Planned
The Capital Development Authority (CDA) plans to renovate and repair the Pak Secretariat, which houses nearly all federal ministries and divisions, in Islamabad.

An officer of the municipal agency stated that the PC-1, with an estimated cost of Rs 1.6 billion, was being finalised in order to rehabilitate all of the secretariat’s buildings.
However, numerous structures required facelifts and renovations. After PC-1 is approved, the CDA, through the Ministry of Interior, will request the Planning Commission to allocate funds for the next Public Sector Development Programme, according to a CDA official (PSDP).

Pak Secretariat is divided by a road, with P, Q, R, and S blocks on one side and A, B, C, and D blocks toward Margalla Hills on the other. The structures were constructed in the 1960s.
