Research Center of Gandhara Cultural Heritage in Islamabad
The Gandhara Cultural Heritage Administration of the Republic of Korea (CHA) and the Korea Cultural Heritage Foundation (KCHF) organised a ceremony to inaugurate the Gandhara Cultural Heritage Research Centre at the Islamabad Museum in Pakistan.

High-ranking officials from both nations, including the CHA Administrator, the KCHF President, and members of the Pakistani government, attended the occasion. With the Korean government’s tremendous technical and financial support, the center’s foundation aims to systematically maintain and safeguard the Buddhist Cultural Heritage of Gandhara in Pakistan.

The 40th anniversary of the two countries diplomatic ties was commemorated at the same time as the launch of the Gandhara Cultural Heritage Research Centre.
