Restoration Work of Naran-Babusar Road Underway
According to the specifics, work has begun to remove rubble, rocks, and debris from landslides and flash floods in order to rehabilitate the area for all types of traffic.
According to a recent statement by Deputy Commissioner (DC) Diamer, the route will be blocked to all traffic between 6 a.m. and 2 p.m. daily.
To avoid any disruption, passengers have been instructed to avoid the Babusar road and instead utilize the Karakoram Highway (KKH) in the event of an emergency.
According to a notice issued by the Diamer divisional commissioner Dildar Malik, the entry of tourists via Babusar and KKH was prohibited for 48 hours in order to protect their lives as landslides continued in the Tatta Pani Section of KKH following recent rainfall.
Previously, the Diamer Commissioner had put an indefinite ban on tourists entering Great Britain via Babusar route and KKH.
