Ring Road Fact-Finding Report Termed Fabricated
The investigative report on the Ring Road project has sparked outrage in the political and bureaucracy circles, who have called it fabricated and demanded an objective investigation into the matter.

After Aviation Minister Ghulam Sarwar Khan’s report was rejected, the locals named in the report mentioned as beneficiaries denied the report’s claim.
Sources say Dr Syed Tauqeer Shah’s land is within Islamabad boundary and it is not within Rawalpindi or Punjab government and his name is used to refer to PML-N because he is close to former chief minister Shehbaz Sharif .
He said the total length of Rawalpindi Ring Road is 66.3 km as per the Request for Proposal (FRP) issued by Punjab Public-Private Partnership Authority last month and only 1.4 km lies in Islamabad area. in area C-17 2.

He said the Capital Development Authority is responsible for acquiring land within its administrative control area, but Article 4 is not imposed in the area nor is the land price set by the district appraisal committee.
