RMC Determined to Check Status of Commercial Buildings
Sardar Naseem Khan, the mayor of Rawalpindi, disclosed that the Rawalpindi Municipal Corporation (RMC) will soon conduct a status review of commercial structures. In addition, they plan to eradicate encroachments from the territory under their jurisdiction.

They Across the past three years, illegal encroachments and construction have increased in the city, according to Mayor Khan. He claimed that the local government has decided to investigate the condition of all commercial structures. The municipal authorities will determine whether or not the structures were built without authorization. A survey reveals that the majority of constructions were constructed without approved building plans.
Following the application of fines, the RMC will report to the mayor on the number of illegal structures that have been allowed.

According to an RMC official, Band Khana Road was created forty years ago as an alternative route to Kuri and Sadiqabad roads. However, the houses along the street have been repurposed for commercial purposes. The adjacent homes are the most significant obstructions to traffic flow. In addition, the official noted that the vast majority of plazas and workplaces are constructed without the approval of the local government. In addition, it was discovered that certain structures on Liaquat Road, Sadiqabad, Murree Road, and Raja Bazaar violated municipal regulations.
