Rs 173 Million Approved for Kohat Hospital
The Khyber Pakhtunkhwa government has approved spending of Rs 103 million to resume work on the new Liaquat Memorial Hospital building and Rs 173 million for the purchase of equipment for the KDA Teaching Hospital (LMH).

The LMH, a 1.3 billion rupee project, has only received Rs 30 million so far since 2018, and as a result, the contractor has stopped working on the hospital halfway through. The government has already approved Rs 103 million for the project, though.
It is anticipated that the government will allocate an additional Rs 500 million for the project the next year and work to finish it before the project’s term expires in 2023.

According to Mr. Bangash, the government’s first priority is health, and every effort would be made to allocate Rs. 500 million for LHM in June 2022 to assure its completion.
Mr. Bangash stated that he had summoned the SNGPL manager on Monday and asked him to address the low gas pressure in Miangan Colony, areas of the city, Jungle Khel, and Chakar Kot.
