Rs 2.03 billion Compensation Paid for Suki Kinari Project Land
Mansehra: The district administration has compensated the villagers whose land was acquired for the Suki Kinari hydropower project in Kaghan valley with Rs 2.03 billion.

MNA Junaid Akbar presided over the meeting of the standing committee, which was attended by landowners, DC Dr. Qasim, and others.
Salah Mohammad Khan, parliamentary secretary and member of the National Assembly, expressed several concerns, including the payment of compensation to the individuals whose property was acquired for the 880 megawatt power plant.
The DC stated that the chairman of the standing committee constituted a committee chaired by MNA Salah Mohammad Khan to discuss land compensation and the Mansehra-Naran-Jalkhad Road.

The National Highway Authority was working on a plan for the repair of the Mansehra-Naran-Jalkhad Road, which connected Khyber Pakhtunkhwa to Gilgit-Baltistan, according to Dr. Qasim.
