Rs 600m to be Spent on Lakki Hospital’s Improvement
Lakki Marwat/Dera Ismail Khan: Provincial health minister Taimur Saleem Jhagra stated that the government will spend Rs 600 million to upgrade the District Headquarters Hospital, Lakki Marwat, so that it is equipped with excellent healthcare services.

During a visit to the DHQ hospital and the basic health unit in the Shahbazkhel neighbourhood on Wednesday, the minister stated that the major health facility in Lakki will be upgraded so that people could receive quality care close to their homes.
Mr. Jhagra also visited the District Headquarters Complex in Tajazai, where he examined the Rescue 1122 station and government building repair and rehabilitation work.
He stated that the province government had hired 200 physicians and 50 nurses in Dera hospitals, and that a grant of Rs 60 million had been approved for the provision of amenities in the division’s basic health units.

The province minister announced the opening of a Type-D hospital in the Darazinda merger region. In accordance with Prime Minister Imran Khan’s vision, he stated, health services are being offered to all citizens of the province without prejudice.
