Sagian Rehabilitation Project Split by LDA
The Lahore Development Authority (LDA) has decided to break the Sagian Interchange repair project into two packages, according to press sources. The scheduled start date for the 2.9 billion PKR project is January 25.

According to sources, Package One will include the construction of a road from Saggian Interchange Band Road to Phool Mandi and Faiz Pur Interchange at a cost of PKR 1.5 billion. The second phase is the construction of a road from Phool Mandi to Sheikhupura Road, which will take eight months and cost 1.48 billion PKR.

It is important to note that LDA has recently released a list of firms that have been prequalified for the Sagian Road project. The rehabilitation of Sagian Road is included in the provincial capital’s multibillion-rupee road infrastructure enhancement project funded by the government of Punjab. The route is one of the busiest in the city because it is used by commuters and heavy traffic to enter and leave the city.
