SBP to Issue Rs. 50 Commemorative Coin on Golden Jubilee
The Islamic Republic of Pakistan’s Constitution celebrates its Golden Jubilee in 2023.
The Federal Government has given the State Bank of Pakistan (SBP) permission to create a commemorative coin worth Rs. 50 to mark this important occasion.

Starting on Friday, April 14, 2023, the coin will be distributed through the exchange counters of every SBP Banking Services Corporation field office.
The Pakistani Constitution, commonly referred to as the Constitution of 1973, is the country’s highest statute and serves as a framework for its legal system and political culture. It defines the boundaries of the state, upholds and defends the population’s fundamental rights, and ensures the safety of every Pakistani citizen.

The coin has a circular shape, is 30.0 mm in diameter, weighs 13.5 grams, and is made of copper and nickel (75% copper, 25% nickel).
