Sector F-9 Park in Islamabad to Get a Museum Soon
According to news reports, the chairman of the Capital Development Authority (CDA), Amer Ali Ahmed, has authorized the relevant authorities to convert the abandoned restaurant structure in F-9 Park into a history museum.
The non-functional restaurant’s 30,000-square-foot space will be used as a tourist attraction with wall hangings and paintings depicting the landmarks and history of the capital city.
During a tour of several parts of the city, the chairman instructed the administration to repair the lighting at F-9 Park, which is frequented after dusk.
In addition, he ordered the Municipal Corporation Islamabad (MCI) to restore and complete the renovation of the gym located between G-11 and F-11 within two days and to make the facility operational.

In addition, the chairman observed the carpeting and road reconstruction progress and requested that the work be expedited and improved.
He stated that the roads F-11 and G-11 are to be worked on meticulously and that no compromises in quality will be permitted.
