Shab-e-Barat is also commonly known as the Night of Forgiveness. According to the Lunar calendar, it will be celebrated on the 15th night of Sha’ban. According to the Gregorian Calendar, this auspicious occasion will be observed. It falls on Monday, February 26, 2024. It is believed that on this night, Allah decides each person’s fate for the upcoming year and pardons the sins of those who truly repent.
Mosques in Pakistan will be lit up and decorated with vibrant lights to create a calm and spiritual ambiance. The devout will offer extra prayers and supplications, pleading with Allah for blessings and kindness as well as forgiveness for their sins.
