Sikh Pilgrims Had Busy Day at Gurdwara Panja Sahib
13 April, Hassanabad (APP): On Thursday, 2668 Sikh pilgrims from India had a hectic day at this location as they were escorted by police to Gurdwara Panja Sahib Hassanabdal. They were removed from Gurdwara Panja Sahib by the force and Endowment Department representatives, who also counted them in a line before sending them to Vali Kandahari.

The procedure was overseen by Sundus Ishaq and DSP Hassanabdal Syed Kazim Shah Mungal.
When visiting Gurdwara Panja Sahib Hasan Abdal, District Police Officer Attock Dr. Sardar Ghiyas Gul Khan reviewed the security protocols and gave instructions to his team. He instructed all of the staff to carry out their tasks diligently and stressed the value of showing respect to the Sikh pilgrims.
While speaking with APP, the Sikh pilgrims praised the Pakistani government for providing impenetrable security and the accommodations for the event. While staying at their houses, people reported feeling secure and at ease. The pilgrims emphasized the importance of having Wi-Fi access within the Gurdwara Panja Sahib so they could visit and interact with their loved ones.

According to them, the Baisakhi Mela is a very significant Sikh festival in India, and Sikh pilgrims from all over the world attend.
Along with a palanquin procession, the Sikh pilgrims sang songs as they celebrated their religious rites (Nagar Ketan) in grand style all around Gurdwara Panja Sahib.
RPO Rawalpindi Khurram Shah visited Gurdwara Panja Sahib Hassanabdal and inspected the security measures together with DPO Attock Dr. Sardar Ghiyas Gul Khan, SP Investigation Attock Jawaria Muhammad Jameel, ASP Sundus Ishaq, and DSP Syed Kazim Shah.

After visiting Baba Vali and Kandahari, Sikh pilgrims claimed that their visit had offered them peace of mind and that their wish from India had been granted.
