Sindh Allots Land to Provide Housing to Govt Employees
Karachi: In an effort to alleviate the housing problem, the Sindh government has allocated 139 acres of land to construct houses for the government employees of Grades 1 to 22, according to news reports on March 1.

The allocation of land to the Sindh Civil Servants Housing Foundation at Deh Joreji in the Malir District was authorised by the Sindh Cabinet, according to the specifics. It was stated that the government is concentrating on alleviating the issues faced by the employees owing to a shortage of accommodations with this move.
According to the news source, the land was given out at a price that was 50% less than its market worth. The government workers praised the provincial government for taking this action and believed it would boost employee morale. The government representatives praised the Sindh government’s efforts in easing the housing situation.
