Sindh Revenue Board Announces Relief for Tax Defaulters

Karachi: The Sindh Revenue Board, through Notification No. SRB-3-4/12/2021, has announced substantial relief for Sales Tax delinquents who settle outstanding dues by June 30, 2021, and receive a waiver of surcharges and late payment penalties, according to an advertisement published in national newspapers.

The relief is effective between June 22 and June 30, 2021. According to the material on the official website and in advertisements, submitting tax before to the aforementioned deadline would result in a 100 percent penalty waiver and a 90 percent exemption from the default surcharge.
