Software Technology Zones to Increase Exports & Employment
Punjab Finance Minister Makhdoom Hashim Jawan Bakht has declared that the Punjab government will establish a software technology zone in Lahore in order to promote exports and provide employment opportunities.

Bakht anticipated that Lahore will be a key center for business operations in the future, and that all types of resources would be used to promote economic development there.
The President of the Bank of Punjab stated on this occasion that the business community is the backbone of the economy, and BoP is committed to providing them with the finest banking services.
Nevertheless, the president of the LCCI said that Pakistan’s place in the global ranking of countries with ease of doing business might be improved through public-private partnerships.
