Taxila, Kotli Satian, Murree Tehsils Removed from RDA
Rawalpindi: According to our sources, the Punjab government has planned to remove approximately six tehsils from the Rawalpindi Development Authority’s jurisdiction (RDA).
The news was published on the 22nd of December, and it featured six tehsils such as Kahuta, Kotli Satian, Kalar Syedan, Gujjar Khan, Murree, and Taxila.

According to the sources, RDA now has control over 64 communities. Mr. Tariq Mahmood Murtaza, chairman of the RDA, informed the media that a new structure will be implemented. There were 138 housing complexes under RDA’s supervision. Eighty of them are legitimate, and 58 have been verified.

In addition to enforcing the business regulation, the administration will also pursue legal action against illicit housing plans formed under the new authority. Only those plans that are announced to sell plots are permitted to develop.
