FBR Informs Public about Sales Tax on Petroleum Products
The FBR notifies the public that the sales tax on petroleum items will be lowered.
The Federal Board of Revenue (FBR) has stated that the sales tax on petroleum products will be cut, according to the concerned officials.

According to the notification provided today, the sales tax on gasoline and high-speed diesel will remain unchanged, while the tax on kerosene oil and light diesel would be cut.
The tax on kerosene oil decreased from 9.15 percent to 6.70 percent, while the tax on light diesel decreased from 2.74 percent to 0.2 percent.
This is the second time in a month that the federal government has announced a cut in taxes on petroleum products.

According to an announcement, the sales tax on kerosene oil has decreased from 15.44 percent to 10.07 percent. The sales tax on light diesel was decreased from 7.56 percent to 3.67 percent.
