Three Shops Sealed in Rawalpindi
In its continuous campaign against encroachment and unlicensed structures and businesses, Rawalpindi Development Authority (RDA) has locked three shops in various locations throughout the city.
The operation against illegal encroachment was carried out by the Land Development and Estate Management (LD&EM) officials in the residential areas of Bagh Sardaran and Ghazni Colony.

These businesses allegedly violated the Punjab Development of Cities Act of 1976 by being built on Plot No. 147 and in an open area that was already occupied by a local.
According to an RDA official, the Punjabi government has issued directions to the RDA employees ordering them to take strict action against encroachment.
