Tiktok Has Announced 18,000 Scholarships for Students in Pakistan
ISLAMABAD, January 20, 2023- Tiktok management has announced scholarships and online study grants for 18,000 deserving students in Pakistan.
TikTok, in collaboration with Edkasa, has established a Pakistani scholarship program for meritorious students. This scholarship program provides online study funding to more than 18,000 qualified Pakistani students. This new campaign was unveiled months after the June 2022 debut of TikTok’s successful #ExamReady campaign.
The #ExamReady initiative was a collaboration between TikTok, Edkasa, and Pakistan’s premier educational institution, LUMS. The project promoted digital learning by facilitating online instruction for high school students. During the #examready campaign, about 500 online educational videos were published. These films, which included topics such as Chemistry, Biology, Physics, and Mathematics, helped many Pakistani students prepare for exams. Since their introduction, the #examready videos have had over 665 million views, demonstrating their popularity among Pakistani students.

“We are ecstatic to witness the huge interest and student uptake in TikTok’s educational content. Regarding the success of the Exam Ready Campaign, the CEO and Founder of Edkasa stated, “Pakistan needs this kind of unique and high-quality content that helps our young people compete with the rest of the world.” TikTok and Edkasa intend to bolster the campaign by providing students with two months’ worth of Edkasa study materials and exam packages.
The scholarships are open to all Pakistani students and are intended for those who are experiencing financial difficulties while studying.
