To Strengthen Pakistan-Sri Lanka Ties Roadmap Proposed
Islamabad: The Pak-Sri Lanka Business Council Khyber Pakhtunkhwa (KP) leaders are committed to a comprehensive plan to expand bilateral trade between Pakistan and Sri Lanka.

On Thursday, the initiative was decided at a meeting led by Mr. Zulfiqar Ali Khan, the province chairman. It was planned to encourage Sri Lankan investors to invest in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa’s tourist and hospitality sectors, as well as other regions of the country.
Members of the Council agreed to include the federal government and other relevant ministries in the development of an action plan. In addition, they will construct a tangible structure to promote trade between Pakistan and Sri Lanka.

Mr. Zulfiqar Ali Khan claimed that KP is an attractive location for international investment. It is also noted that tourism, hospitality, hydroelectric power generation, minerals, and honey are prospective businesses in KP that present enormous investment opportunities.
The Council Chairman invited Sri Lankan businesses to maximize potential and economic trade connections between the two nations. During the meeting, they also announced that future consultations will be held with the KP Governor and Chief Minister to plan the action of strengthening Pak-Sri Lanka commercial relations.
