Tourism Corporation Punjab Fix Glamping Pods at Tourist Sites
Lahore: In an effort to promote ecotourism, the Tourism Development Corporation of Punjab (TDCP) is building glamping pods at major tourist locations in the province to provide travelers with affordable lodging. The cost of the project is 40 million rupees.

According to the concerned authority, the installation of glamping pods in Patriata, Murree, has been completed, and they will also be constructed at Kotli Sattian, Soon Valley, and Changa Manga.
Mr. Shaukat says Patriata was chosen for the installation of glamping pods because Patriata summit was visited by a high number of people. According to him, many tourists wished to stay the night at Patriata top, but there was no lodging facilities. However, glamping pods have now solved the problem of accommodation.

The project is anticipated to offer new investment opportunities for the private sector, local employment prospects, and contribute to the socioeconomic growth of the region.
The glamping pods have been constructed to withstand extreme weather conditions, with adequate ventilation for hot days and insulation for cold weather.
