Tourist Facilitation Centers Set Up at Makli, Keenjhar Lake
Thatta: According to Hyderabad range DIG Sharjeel Karim Kharal, Thatta police have established “tourism facilitation centers” close to the Makli Necropolis and Keenjhar Lake to aid visitors promptly and increase public confidence in law enforcement.

After opening a center at the Makli Necropolis with Thatta SSP Dr. M. Imran Khan, he told the media that there were enough police officers stationed there to ensure the safety, direction, and well-being of the thousands of tourists who visit the two well-known tourist destinations throughout the year, especially on weekends.

He said that police officers will be on duty constantly to prevent undesirable incidents, uphold law and order, and foster a friendly atmosphere at the picnic areas.
He was grateful to Thatta SSP for taking the initiative and for the district police’s overall performance.

He also opened a complaint cell, a cell for the protection of women and children, and a unit to assist tourists while police buildings were being repaired and renovated.
