UK to Install Modern Security Machines at Pakistan Airports
The British Department for Transport (DFT) decided to give Pakistan cutting-edge equipment for airport security.
According to sources, the DFT-supplied cutting-edge security technology will be installed at the airports in Lahore and Karachi by the Civil Aviation Authority (CAA).
The machine’s modern technology allows them to inspect passenger’s bags and luggage.
The management of Pakistan International Airlines (PIA) and the British Department for Transport (DfT) came to terms in February of last year to install a brand-new security system at the country’s airports.
According to sources, these devices would result in the removal of additional restrictions on hold luggage screening for planes headed to the UK as well as an increase in the effectiveness and speed of holding baggage screening.
According to them, “The UK High Commission is doing everything it can to have the machinery transported to Pakistan as quickly as possible through its contractor.”
Recent conversations between the CAA, DFT, and UK aviation have been praised as being extremely positive, which is a hint that the UK plans to allow airlines with Pakistani roots to use its airports.
