UNDP Proposes to Update Karachi Safari Park
Mahenau Agha, the Incharge Programme of the United Nations Development Programme’s (UNDP) Karachi Chapter, volunteered to renovate the Karachi Safari Park and other development initiatives in the city, according to news media.

During the conversation, she offered Mr. Laeeq financial and technical support for a variety of different development initiatives. Ms. Agha expressed particular interest in the Clifton development projects associated with the refurbishment of the Safari Park and Bagh Ibne Qasim.
In addition, she claimed that the manner Safari Park has been constructed leaves a great deal of opportunity for improvement and that, in its current state, it can only be regarded as an ordinary park.

Mr. Laeeq claimed that conversations with the private sector have taken place, and a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) has been signed for the improvement of park and Bag Ibne Qasam by Karachi City Administration and UNDP Resident Representative Knut Ostby.
It is essential to note that the Safari Park was established in 1970 and encompasses 148 acres. The Park’s zoo provides amusement for tourists.
