Lahore: According to our sources, Prime Minister (PM) Imran Khan announced on Sunday (March 6) that the Ravi Urban Development Authority (RUDA) and Central Business District (CBD) are being built to preserve Lahore’s unique ecology. The uniqueness of the project’s planning, according to him, is in its incorporation of environmentally friendly technologies.

During a RUDA and CBD review meeting, the prime minister stated that the project would increase sustainability while for the first time utilizing Pakistan’s dead capital. According to RUDA CEO Imran Amin, the projects include the extension of the Chahar Bagh industrial complex, water training, Sapphire Bay, a waste-to-energy plant, and a waste treatment facility.

On this occasion, Prime Minister Imran addressed several city development projects slated for completion by March of the following year. The following initiatives have been announced:
- The construction of the Bab-e-Pakistan History Museum will showcase Walton’s development from 1900 to the present day.
- Construction of an LNG-based captive power plant
- The development of an innovative teaching hospital in CBD-Walton.
