Work on F-9’s Museum in Full Swing, Conversion of Citizen Club to Follow
Islamabad: The Capital Development Authority (CDA) announced that the first Art and Display Museum is being constructed in Sector F-9 Park, according to news reports.
Once the museum is constructed, it will be governed by an unofficial committee of artists. According to sources, the museum would have extensive photos and artifacts relating to the history of Islamabad. In the coming weeks, the museum will be completed and open to the public, according to the museum’s administration.
In addition, the CDA said that the project to transform the 22-acre Citizen Club into the Ghandhara Heritage, Culture, and Convention Centre will commence shortly. The delay in the project has been attributed to the vaccination center that has been established at F-9 Park’s Citizen Club.

However, it is anticipated that the vaccination centre would be relocated to the park’s Environment Wing, while the Environment Wing will be relocated to the Shakarparian arts and crafts centre.
The newly created Ghandhara Heritage, Culture, and Convention Centre will be used for conventions, exhibitions, and the provision of sporting facilities, including a gym, according to the proposal.
