1.5m Doses of Sinovac Arrive at Islamabad Airport: NCOC
The National Command and Operation Centre of Pakistan said that a special shipment of 1.55 million doses of Sinovac anti-Covid vaccination arrived at the Islamabad airport by a special PIA flight (NCOC).

The shipment is part of the emergency orders filed by the federal government in response to a nationwide scarcity of vaccines.
A additional shipment of two to three million doses of the Chinese vaccine will arrive in Pakistan within the next week, followed by an ongoing supply, according to the organisation in charge of national Covid-19 policies and implementation.
There are measures in place for transporting these vaccines to all federating units in accordance with their needs.
According to reports, only a handful of vaccination facilities were operational in Punjab, whereas Sindh said that no vaccinations would be administered on Sunday.

Amidst a drop in coronavirus incidence, Pakistan has immunised roughly 12 million people out of a total population of 207 million. It intends to vaccinate 70 million individuals by the end of the year.
