ISLAMABAD: The Capital Development Authority (CDA) has issued fresh enforcement notices against developments in Islamabad’s Zone IV, targeting Opal Villas on Lehtrar Road and a development at Meelad Chowk on Simly Dam Road.
The notices, dated September 11, 2026, invoke provisions of the CDA Ordinance 1960 and the ICT Zoning Regulations 1992. The authority has directed that unauthorised land use and development activity be stopped and called for the removal or demolition of works, structures or buildings that do not comply with applicable requirements.
Opal Villas and Meelad Chowk Face Enforcement Action
The latest notices place both developments under regulatory scrutiny over alleged unauthorised development activity.
CDA has exercised its enforcement powers under Sections 49-C, 46 and 46-B of the CDA Ordinance 1960, along with the relevant zoning regulations governing development in the Islamabad Capital Territory.
