Allama Iqbal Industrial City Fast-Reaching Completion
According to news reports, Prime Minister (PM) Adviser on Trade and Investment Abdul Razzak Dawood said that the development of Allama Iqbal Industrial City is accelerating per PM Imran Khan’s instructions.

Allama Iqbal Industrial City is one of the first megaprojects to be developed in Punjab under the China Pakistan Economic Corridor (CPEC) program.
During the meeting to analyze the development status of the industrial city, the advisor informed the attendees that all infrastructure required for the establishment of industrial units had been constructed. Members of the conference were also informed that Dawood will meet with the British Business Council to discuss ways to encourage foreign investment in the country.
The advisor elaborated on the Allama Iqbal Industrial City, adding that construction has begun on 20 industrial units and will commence on the other units by the end of the year.

In addition to providing infrastructure and facilities inside economic zones, the industrial city was also being constructed as a global commercial hub and international industrial zone.
Dawood announced that an Expo Centre, an International Airport, and a dual carriageway road facility will be constructed in Allama Iqbal Industrial City in order to link it to the Lahore-Abdul Hakeem Motorway M3 and the Faisalabad-Multan Motorway M4.
