Work on 7th Avenue Interchange Still Not Started
Islamabad: Construction of the 7th Avenue Interchange has not yet begun, as the Capital Development Authority (CDA) continues to complete post-bid procedures despite the project’s groundbreaking occurring one month ago.

Premier Imran Khan laid the cornerstone for the 7th Avenue Interchange and two other projects at Pak-China Centre last month.
The NLC was awarded the contract because their bid was lower than that of the Frontier Works Organization (FWO). The CDA predicted that the project will cost Rs1.5 billion.
After the completion of the relevant processes, letters of acceptance and commencement will be issued to the contractor, National Logistics Cell (NLC), according to a CDA official.

The interchange is scheduled to be built near Aabpara at the intersection of 7th Avenue, Srinagar Highway, Khayaban-i-Soharwardi, and Garden Avenue.
The official stated that one to two months are needed to complete post-bid processes such as surveys, formal bid acceptance, and the issuance of acceptance letters.
