Armed Forces to Get Special Awards on 75th Independence Day
The establishment and presentation of the Pakistan Diamond Jubilee Award 2022 to members of the armed services has received official approval from President Dr. Arif Alvi.

The new award is effective on August 14, 2022, the nation’s 75th Independence Day.
Personnel from the three military forces, civil forces, and law enforcement organisations will receive medals in appreciation for their efforts and sacrifices, according to the official handout from the President’s Secretariat.

The new award under the 1975 Decoration Act received the President’s approval. The President is empowered by this law to present, revoke, delay, or publicise rewards to nationals of Pakistan and other countries.

The devotion and efforts of individuals who have devoted their lives to eradicating militancy and terrorism from the nation are commemorated by the Diamond Jubilee Award.
